Internet shopping

Now days, many used internet for a lot of things and it does include me. It all started after my niece told me that one her FB frenz bought the baby product from the Amazon website. So i give a try, and it went thru successfully. The 'THING' that i bought can be ship from US to M'sia . Guess what? its only took 3 days to arrive safely at my home.

At first i'm not confident about buying online especially from oversea. So i just try with only 1 item. At that time, i just gamble, taking whatever risk possible wpun dlm hati tak merelakan:)

And now, since the first attempt went smoothly, i think i am addicted  to shop some more from the Amazon. This is what i called the "true shopaholic spirit" ahaks...

How is your confinement?

Confinement, what a scary word :) especially to me since i dun really follow all the traditional confinement practices.

Today is my 29th day of my 3rd confinement, alhamdulillah, everything goes fine, just a little bit tired since i have 2 other kids to look after.

I did follow the do's and dont's during my 1st confinement in 2007 as i  stayed at my sister's and my mother's house. But during my 2nd and now, my 3rd, i didn't really follow that anymore. The reason? obviously there is no one around to tell me "you cannot do that" or whatsoever as i chose to observe my pantang here at KL, alone. The other reason...sometime i find it hard to follow esp when it comes to food. So i ate most of the food (lapar maa, cant help myself to be too choosy:)).

In my opinion, some restrictions are ok to follow but some are too ridiculous e.g. certain veggies or fruits that cannot be taken as they were labelled as 'cold'. I think the general rule of everything is Moderation. This can be apply not only during our confinement period, but in our daily life. I am sure 2 slices of cucumber or 2 slices of watermelon would not make you sick :D.

In Dilemma

I am planning to buy a new breastpump-the double pump, but cannot decide whether to buy Avent or Medela.  The later have a very good review from the users. But my interest was more to Avent as i used many of their products including their manual breast pump,  the sterilizer, the bottle warmer and also the milk bottle.

my other dilemma is whether to buy the tandem stroller-Baby Jogger City Select or Britax B-Dual for my new born. As now i have 3 kids and the first two like to ride in their stroller, this tandem stroller will benefit me and my husband as we only need to carry only 2 strollers for 3 of them. But the price tag for this tandem stroller is very expensive. The Britax B-Dual cost RM2,800++. As for BJCS, the model not yet in M'sia, but if bought thru Amazon.com, it cost almost the same as Britax B-Dual excluding the shipping cost. According to the Baby Jogger dealer, that model might be in M'sia after CNY next year.

gosh...what a dilemma and some more cost a lot of money:). or is this some kind of postpartum blues? (wanting for an expensive things hehehe)

I am totally lost :(

i'd gave birth to my daughter 29 months ago, and everybody said (even the pakar bius said that) it is not that long, that i cannot remember all the experience, but seriously i think i forgot most of it...

i just gave birth to my 3rd child 3 days ago, and you know what?, i keep asking and complaining to my doctor and nurse this and that...it just like i didnt encountered this before...episiotomy pain, engorgement pain etc...is it due to epidural?, i dun know, but i read somewhere, there are cases that women tend to forget after taking an epidural...mmm...i guess it is bcoz my mind is being occupied with other things like work, kids, parenting etc make me forgot those memories...should write it down somewhere...mmm...the best place is here, in my blog:)

Happy Birthday Princess Maryam (27.04.11)!!!

It was Maryam 2nd birthday yesterday....We just had a simple celebration @ mcD....with a slice of cake from Secret Recipe(itupun still ada kat fridge)....the planning to go to Bagan Lalang might be cancel as we will having guess from Langkawi this weekend. An old friend of my husband will come over to our house. He and my hubby will be watching Wings Ochestra Concert @Istana Budaya on the Saturday night.

Cian Maryam...Hopefully next year she will be having a nice birthday party...till then, semuga panjang umur and murah rezeki my baby Maryam...mama will always luv you.....

Maryam Birthday Around The Corner

My little princess will turn 2 on 27th this month. I am thinking to give her a birthday party but hubby said she too young to understand about the party. Actually, for Umar we only gave him birthday party when he turned 3...before we just bought cake and celebrate within us only....

Radio While Driving

i always listen to the radio in the morning while driving to workplace....before this i am a big fan of hotFM, farah & faizal, but when they put 3 persons in morning, i found it not interesting anymore...reason? i dun think AG blend well with fafau n fbi, AG was doing so good with Kieran in the evening show...then i switched to suriaFM...Tuah n Halim seems "serasi bersama" altho halim sometimes overtalking..and suriaFM also brought in the 3rd person, Shahirah which always "merapu" i think...i dun know why this 2 stations did that...i cannot see any benefit from this approach...at least from my view lah...they made me switch to another station.

and now i am listening to mixFM, JD and Dilly...they are fantastic duo!!...this duo remind me of Richard and Shazmin...i love listened to Richard & Shazmin until they changed the announcers...

From the way Dilly speak, i thot she is indian but i was wrong, she is malay n only below 35 yrs old...but sometimes she sounds very old (sorry Dilly hehehe)....

But this whole week JD & Dilly not on air, on leave maybe...the back up team was ok but i still miss JD&Dilly...can wait to have them back on the show....to JD&Dilly, cepat2 balik keje ok.....

Desperate Housewives

I am a big fan of  Desperate Housewives...currently the new session is showing on 8TV...Tuesday @ 10.30pm...

I think some of the stories sometimes actually happened to me...especially Lynette...like in the previous show where Lynette was super2x happy when her daughther offered to help babysitting her younger sister while she went for jogging....how i wish thats will happen to me too....somebody, the one that i trust, offer to look after my kids while i go for shopping, watch movie and etc..wow bestnyerrrrr...

and i wonder why here in M'sia, there is no teenager, college student especially within my neighbourhood would like to do part time babysitting, like what is saw in the movie...

and at times i do feel regret buying home far away from my sisters'. At least, i can send my kids to her house if we live near to each other...

i think i am desperate housewife...desperate to do my own things....how abt you...do you feel the same thing?....

Confessions of a Shopoholic

Sound familiar?..i am a bit fan of the book plus the other shopoholic series...basically i read all Sophie Kinsella books and also her other book written as Madeleine Wickham....

I never read any books that as funny as her books. I laughed while reading,i guess the passengers in the LRT must be wondering why this woman ketawa sorang2..hahaha

Why? bcoz i am some sort of her too:)..but i think she is SUPER shopoholic where i am a Moderate one (takde duit maa..)..

But i am quite frustrated with the movie...the story line was ok but i dont think Isla Fisher potrayed Becky character very well. I think Kate Hudson will done it better. May be i should be in the casting team next time:)

Plus, i think our books price here is too expensive..imagine just get the 1st edition/print copy, i have to pay RM80++.For the cheaper copy, i have to wait for another 4-6 mths after, which is impossible for me to wait that long. I want to be among the 1st to read hahaha...

Corelle-holic

i am big fan of Corelle...alah, dinnerware fr US tu...1st time saw it from my sister's kitchen, a gift fr her BIL who was working at NY at that time...the design is very simple, i guess that was US design..geometry thing!.

my own collection starts with the 'pastel bouquet'...rasanya dah extinct dah design nie...but still available @ lgkawi, p.kubur n rantau pjg....my husband said, this is the 'paling x cantik a.k.a hodoh' design..what to do...that the only design i can afford at that time...40% discount at Sogo masa tu...

then, my 2nd is the famous 'european herbs'..why i said so?...bcoz i notice many homes have that design...1st time i saw it at rantau pjg, i was..ooh my god...my dream set...i bought it immediately(masa tu @ shopping mall pun takde)..

my 3rd...azwa, my U fren bought it from Australia while she was there...the 'kobe'. why that design? coz i thot i can mix n match with 'european herbs' as it has the yellow flower too...that what i learn from the Corelle booklet...mix n match ..hahaha..

the 4th is the 'pure white' or 'plain' design...i bought it @ lgkawi...round and square collection for this design...

the lastest is the 'warm pansies'...eventho thats not the latest design...hubby choice...i got free 3 sets of pyrex for this...worth buying hehehe..tapi bila tenguk2 balik...rasanya menyesal beli yg ni...baik beli latest design which i cant remember the design name(the red roses design)...what to do..dah beli..huk..huk..huk

want to know the funny thing abt this whole corelle-holic thing?...i already own the 'european herbs' corningware but it was in the storeroom...last Dec, i went to lgkawi again n u know what...i bought the same thing again..hehehe...now i owned 2 sets which i think really membazir...

this week, i went to pengkalan kubur during balik kg time....ohh..i went crazy coz all the designs are there..(the last time, only certain desidn were sold there)...but i put on 2nd thot...yg ada pun only bleh pakai one at one time...lagipun takde tempat nak simpan..nanti ke storeroom juga which i tend to forget later..hehehe..

my boss said 'u have all different design, but it all the the same thing meh..' i think she was quite 'pelik' why buy the same thing so many:)..that's why i called it corelle-holic....

Crocs-Mania

Crocs is on SALE!!! starting last weekend....Giler tgk Crocs design nowday. Rasa nak beli semua hehehe...since it was on 50% discount,  grabbed it for the kids and hubby...no for mama as i just bought it few months ago...maybe nxt time...

Thot about Crocs, must thot abt the jibbitz too. but we dun buy at the outlet as it too expensive...we bought it at Shah Alam uptown. Really cheap plus if hilang pun tak sedih sgt...

umar starts kindergarden

time flies...umar turn 4 this year...and he is now goes to kindergarden...thot to send him to Genius Aulad but later change my mind...since he is only 4, i think i just let him go to his current daycare kindergarden...easy for me as i dun have to think abt transport n daycare after 'kindii'...umar pun dah kenal kawan2...teacher and  pengasuh...
